Through an experimental approach to form and finish, Cookers Head Office presents a striking commercial addition to an industrial zoned precinct in Melbourne’s West.

The design incorporates a commercial and warehouse space in an industrial zoned precinct in Melbourne's west.

A large canteleverd eave provides shelter for trucks loading and unloading cooking oil. Polycarbonate cladding creates a semi-translucent facade and creates a point of diferentiation from the warehouse located to the rear. 

To reduce energy consumption within the office has been designed to maximise cross ventilation. In addition, the first floor facade provides shadow for the ground floor windows below. Rainwater is harvested and reused on site to irrigate the landscape. Power for the buildng is generated via wind turbine and solar arrays.
